Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making both our website and our transportation usable by everyone — and how to reach us if you hit a barrier.

Last updated June 17, 2026

1. Our Commitment

Accessibility is at the heart of what ProVital Transit does. Many of the people we serve live with mobility, vision, hearing, or cognitive disabilities, so making both our website and our transportation service usable by everyone isn’t an afterthought — it’s the point.

We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology, and to continually improving the experience for all of our users.

2. Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These internationally recognized guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. We measure our site against Level AA and treat full conformance as an ongoing goal rather than a one-time event.

3. What We Do on the Website

To support accessibility across the site, we work to provide:

  • Semantic, well-structured HTML with clear headings and landmarks.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds.
  • Full keyboard operability and visible focus indicators.
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Clearly labeled form fields, helpful instructions, and accessible error messages.
  • Large, easy-to-tap touch targets and a responsive layout that works on phones, tablets, and computers.
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences and readable, resizable text.
  • Meaningful link text and consistent, predictable navigation.

4. Accessibility of Our Transportation

Our commitment extends well beyond the website. ProVital Transit provides:

  • ADA-equipped, wheelchair-accessible vehicles with lifts or ramps and proper securement.
  • Door-to-door and door-through-door assistance for riders who need it.
  • Drivers trained in passenger assistance, safe transfers, and patience for riders who need extra time.
  • Support for power and manual wheelchairs, walkers, oxygen, service animals, and travel companions.

If you need a specific accommodation to arrange or take a ride, just let us know when you book and we will do our best to meet your needs.

5. Compatibility & Assistive Technology

The site is designed to work with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox) and common assistive technologies, including screen readers and speech-recognition software, on desktop and mobile devices. Because assistive technologies and browsers vary, you may occasionally encounter differences in experience; we welcome your feedback so we can improve.

6. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we actively monitor include third-party embeds (such as maps), documents, and any user- or vendor-provided content. If you find a barrier anywhere on the site, please tell us — we treat reports as a priority and will provide the information or assistance you need while we work on a fix.

7. Third-Party Content

Some features rely on third-party services (for example, an embedded map). We do not control the accessibility of third-party content, but we choose providers thoughtfully and will help you obtain the same information another way if a third-party component creates a barrier.

8. Feedback & Getting Help

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this site, and we’re always glad to help you arrange a ride directly. If you have trouble using any part of the site, need information in a different format, or want to request an accommodation, please:

  • Call us — a coordinator can take your request by phone right away.
  • Reach out through our contact page.

When you contact us about an accessibility issue, please describe the problem, the page or feature involved, and the browser or assistive technology you were using, if you can. We aim to respond promptly — typically within a few business days — and to resolve issues as quickly as we reasonably can.

9. Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a finish line. We review our site as we add features and content, incorporate feedback from the people we serve, and update this statement as our practices evolve. The date at the top of this page reflects our most recent review.

Questions about this page?

We’re happy to explain anything here, help you exercise your rights, or arrange your ride by phone. A coordinator will point you in the right direction.
